Saturday 5th August is Small Press Day 2023! You can check where your nearest event is here. I'm really excited as I'll have a table at the Newcastle Comic and Zine Fair at Travelling Man, I'll have copies of The Spinechillers, all of my minicomics including my new ones Syrup and Diss Track, and a few surprises as well! Hope to see some of you there!

Coco Comic Con 2023

I was at Coco Comic Con in Lancaster a few weeks ago and had an amazing time! So much talent in one room it was really inspiring, and expensive too I could hardly carry my bag home I bought so much stuff!

Thanks to the CoCo Comics boys and Matt Simmons for putting on such a great event, it was lovely to see them and also Zeke and her amazing zines, Adam Falp, Krystyna Baczynski. Anna Readman, Peter Morey, Hesitant Doodle, Nick Gonzo, John Freeman, Steve Gregson and everyone else I met. I'll be there for next years for sure, hope to see you there!

Update-o-Tron

Hiya!

Hope you're all well my friends! Just wanted to give you a quick update of what I've been doing so far this year. So far I've had 4 new comics out!

Madeleine

I've got a story in Simon Russell's new zine Madeleine, it's a collection of the earliest memories of comic readers about their love of the medium, mine is about how I came to read 2000AD when I was a kid. It's a lovely project and all proceeds are going to support MIND.

The Sea... And That

I've got a strip in the latest anthology from my friends the Paper Jam Comics Collective, it's called Sea Bloke!

Syrup and Diss Track

My two newest mini comics are out now, you can find them in the online shop or I'll have them with me at upcoming events too! I was at a launch event for The Sea in Whitley Bay recently, CoCo Comic Con in Lancaster, and I'll be tabling at the Newcastle Comic and Zine Fair on the 5th of August, hope to see some of you there!

Keep watching the pies,

Ben
