For Videogame fans, today is like birthday and Christmas rolled into one, as it sees the long awaited release of Grand Theft Auto IV. It's predecessor GTA III is my favourite game of all time, and the best game ever made. So to say I'm excited is a bit of an understatement! Judging by the reviews that have emerged so far, it looks like I won't be disappointed. IGN have given it their first 10/10 review in almost a decade, the sense of anticipation is palpable. The very idea of the online mode seems almost unbelievable. If you're on XBox Live my gamertag is MagicBeanz by the way!

There were hundreds of people at the midnight opening in Newcastle, and we stayed up all night playing it. Words fail me at how awesome it is. And the online multiplayer... incredible. The most fun I've ever had on XBox 360.

Just got this month's Edge Magazine, and they've given GTA IV a 10/10 review, probably the most coveted accolade in all of videogame journalism. I think they've only given that score to about 7 or 8 games in their entire history. After the dozens of hours of sheer fun I've had playing it, I think it's well deserved.
